Bill Schonely invites you to Portland Rescue Mission benefit concert

Do you have plans for June 6 at 7:30 p.m.? Portland Rescue Mission, Lake Grove Presbyterian Church (LGPC) and Bill Schonely invite you to attend “Unfailing Grace.” As noted in the video above, the iconic “Mayor of Rip City” is a member of LGPC’s 90-voice Sanctuary Choir. On Saturday evening of June 6, the choir will host a benefit concert in support of Portland Rescue Mission.

“Unfailing Grace” will take place at the historic First Baptist Church in downtown Portland. There is no cost to attend, but proceeds from a free will offering will  support the Hope Ministries, Pathways Ministries and New Life Ministries of Portland Rescue Mission. Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

In recent years, the Sanctuary Choir has been putting on sacred music benefit concerts across the globe. While doing a benefit called Serve the City in Europe last summer, they decided it was time to direct their efforts toward their own backyard. As longtime supporters of Portland Rescue Mission, LGPC then approached the Mission about “Unfailing Grace.” And come June 6, you too can be there to enjoy it – all while partnering with us in giving hope and restoring life in the process.

“The Schonz” will be there, and you should be too!
