As a business in our city, you know the value of
investing in our local community.
When you partner with Portland Rescue Mission you help change
the lives of our vulnerable neighbors.
We work with local businesses to find ways to
create lasting change that is mutually beneficial.
Here are two ways you can join us.

Care Partners

Your business can “Own the Day” by providing one full day of meals, or “Own the Day + Night” by adding one night of shelter.
We recognize the impact of our Care Partners through social media promotion, newsletters and by creating thank you videos for you to share with your team and customers. Through our newsletters alone, approximately 60,000 community members will see your brand.

How to Get Started:

Get creative and engage your community! Care Partners raise funds in a variety of ways:

  • Office fundraisers/competitions
  • Match your customer’s donations up to your’ goal
  • Add a unique Portland Rescue Mission donation link to your website for a limited time
  • Provide the option to add the cost of a meal – $2.09 – at the register
  • Give a corporate donation
  • Donate a percentage of sales for a limited time

Be a part of the Lighthouse and shine a light on solutions to end homelessness.

Each year, Portland Rescue Mission hosts telethons -fundraising events aired on local T.V. stations. Telethons are a critical strategy for engaging our community in the work we do to fight homelessness and to share stories of life transformation.

Dedicated Sponsors Receive:

  • One week of commercial mentions promoting the event
  • Live TV interviews and on-air check presentations
  • 10+ social media posts
  • Branding recognition on Portland Rescue Mission’s website
  • Co-branded event promotion prior to the event and throughout the day

The Big Difference

Our business partners make a big difference. There are many ways you can help and partner with the mission. For example, volunteering, taking a tour of the Mission, fundraising for a specific program, giving toward a capital campaign that would allow for the mission to renovate and expand, hire a graduate or student through the Job Referral Network, gifts of specific material needs with in-kind support, or organize a workplace giving campaign to offer opportunities to the all the company employees.
