Your donation of food, blankets, and other supplies to Portland Rescue Mission gives love and support to men, women, and children looking for a way out of homelessness and addiction.

Short-term street parking is usually available by the front door. The shelter is open 24/7, but the lobby may be closed for cleaning from 6:00-6:45 a.m. and 5:00-5:45 p.m.

We are open for donations of men, women, and children’s clothing and toiletries at Shepherd’s Door on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 1:15p-3:45p.

Are you looking for a way to engage your neighborhood, business, or church? Item Drives meet real needs in support of the Portland Rescue Mission.

Contact our Community Involvement Team to walk through the following steps:

Target a program’s particular needs- Shelter, Transitional, Recovery, and Family Life programs
Receive a specific list of needed NEW donations that don’t typically come through our regular donation channels.
Start your Item Drive with your community, collecting much needed donations!
Drop-off your donations at the site that they are serving. (note: if donations are more than a large vehicle worth, a pickup may be scheduled)
