Burnside Shelter

Impact the lives of women and children at Portland Rescue Mission (job openings)

woman-guest-at-burnsideWomen and children are the fastest growing demographic when it comes to people experiencing homelessness in the Portland area. They are also the most vulnerable demographic when it comes to life on the streets. That is why at Portland Rescue Mission we spend so much time and resources to give hope and restore life for the women and children suffering from homelessness and addiction at Shepherd’s Door and in our Connect program.

And if you have a passion for reaching women and children, we want you to join our staff and put that passion into a new career. Four of our open positions are working directly with women and/or children, and all four are in need of someone with a caring and compassionate heart that wants to play a vital role in changing someone’s life forever. Find out which jobs are available and then scroll down to see some of our staff’s favorite moment from the last month.
