Have you been thinking about a job change recently? Are you a student looking an internship? If so, opportunities abound here at Portland Rescue Mission. We are actively searching for passionate people to work in a transformational faith-based environment where lives are being changed.
Portland Rescue Mission is broken into three main areas: Hope Ministries, Pathway Ministries and New Life Ministries. All three areas need additional staffing — including an opportunity with Drive Away Hunger.
Our Hope Ministries focus on urgent needs, provide care, offer friendship and direct our guests to area resources.
Our Pathway Ministries provide safe shelter, offers guidance to help people transition into stable housing and employment in as little as three months. This includes our Connect program for men and women.
Our 12-month residential New Life Ministries are focused on breaking severe addiction through counseling, spiritual renewal and life skills training. The program strives for healing in every aspect of a person for a total life recovery. Women and children are served by Shepherd’s Door while men are served by The Harbor.
