Artwork Inspires Addiction Recovery

Nicole, a student at George Fox University, recently donated her design skills to provide new artwork at our Burnside Shelter.

Three art panels show the progression of a tiny seedling into a mighty tree — symbolic of the transformation men and women undergo through our New Life Recovery Ministry.

Over the course of 12 to 18 months, formerly homeless and addicted men and women break free from addictive behaviors that have destroyed their lives.  They face the root causes, heal from deep wounds and learn healthy ways to live.

The artwork will hang in the stairwell leading to the upper floors of the Burnside Shelter, providing daily inspiration to the men who live there during their time with us.

Thanks, Nicole, for sharing your talent!
