Hope on Wheels: PRM Takes Hope Beyond Walls

We are excited to highlight our Hope Van, a key part of Portland Rescue Mission’s Get Help services. Through our Mobile Outreach Ministry, we meet people in their neighborhoods, building trust and offering a clear path off the street through long-term, Christ-centered care.
 

Homelessness isn’t confined to one part of our city, and neither is PRM’s response. Our team can serve seven days and nights a week with our Hope Vans, making more than 1,500 personal connections each month. In 2026, we are expanding into East Portland, especially along the I-205 corridor, to reach more overlooked neighborhoods.
