Paving the Way for Long-Term, Christ-Centered Recovery
Stability opens the door, but recovery is where transformation deepens. The Recover pillar of the PRM Transformation Model is where men, women, and mothers with children experience long-term, Christ-centered healing that addresses not only addiction but also the root causes of homelessness, trauma, and brokenness.
Through residential recovery programs like Discovery and New Life Recovery, participants engage in spiritual formation, Christian discipleship, life-skills development, and community support. In 2025, 188 men and women and 30 children participated in PRM’s New Life Recovery Ministry, with 84% of graduates in the last five years remaining addiction-free and in stable housing.
Transformation in Action
Sami’s story embodies the heart of the Recover pillar. When she entered PRM’s Discovery Program, her life was marked by addiction and fear. Sami entered PRM’s Discovery Program, a five-week program focused stabilization where she gained foundational recovery tools. As her confidence grew, Sami stepped into our 12-month New Life Recovery Ministry, where deep healing began.
Equally transformative was the care her son received in PRM’s Children’s Center. While Sami worked on her recovery, her son found safety, joy, made friends, and trauma-informed care.
“Seeing my son smile and feel safe—it changed everything,” – Sami
Recovery at PRM isn’t just about sobriety. It’s about restoring identity, rebuilding families, and discovering freedom in Christ. It is where broken stories are rewritten with hope and purpose.
