Be a champion for homeless men, women (current job openings at Portland Rescue Mission)

erin-fowler-and-homeless-guestAre you a champion for men, women and children suffering from homelessness and addiction? Do you want to give hope and restore life on a daily basis? If so, look no further than a career at Portland Rescue Mission.

Here at the Mission, we have the pleasure of serving many individuals who are actively looking for something to propel them forward and into a better life. Whether that is getting access to a hot and healthy meal, a safe and secure place to transition off the streets and into housing and/or employment, or a yearlong program to help eradicate a devastating addiction, the Mission serves as a beacon of light for those who are floundering in the darkness.

And we want YOU to be a part of it!

As an organization that is 100 percent supported by our faithful donors, this means a big need of ours is someone skilled with fundraising. If you have a passion for people, and you enjoy the relational aspect of working with others to transform lives, our need for a Donor Engagement Officer just might be the perfect role for you. (For more information about the job opportunity, click here).

Outside of such a vital role with our engagement team, we also have a host of other life-changing opportunities at the Mission. If you’re passionate about ministry to women and/or children, or you love the idea of working on cars for a greater purpose, consider looking into some of our other job openings at Shepherd’s Door and Drive Away Hunger. All of our roles at the Mission work together to make a new reality for the countless men, women and children we have the pleasure of serving.
