Not only do interns invest heavily in Portland Rescue Mission’s ministry during their time serving, but they also have many opportunities to be poured into and built up as leaders. One of the values of the PRM internship program is that interns experience rich and deep mentorship from experienced staff and volunteers.
Additionally, every year, interns attend the Murdock Vision & Call Retreat, which provides them with a chance to connect with other Vision & Call interns at other organizations and sit in on sessions that unpack and explore their unique calling. It is a special weekend of connection, fellowship, discernment, and growth, and it really is a highlight of the year for interns!
