We’re just a few days away from our Conversations on a Bench livestream! Starting on October 9th at noon and streaming through noon on October 10th, we will be broadcasting live from a bench outside of our Burnside Shelter for the 24-hour event.
However, we have a dilemma…in light of World Homeless Day, we want to answer YOUR questions…
Imagine yourself sitting on the bench with us. What questions would you ask a neighbor whose story may look very different from your own? Or what would you want to ask a local leader who has the power to make a change in our city?
How do people around us really feel about homelessness? What insights could we gain if we slowed down, listened carefully, and connected with one another’s lived experiences?
As we prepare for this event, we want to hear from YOU! Please email erinholcomb@pdxmission.org with any topics or specific questions you’d like to see included in the conversations taking place during the livestream.
