Timothy Desper

In 2007, Timothy joined Portland Rescue Mission, serving at the Burnsided Shelter in various roles. In 2013, he became the Director of Burnside Services. Timothy began his career with the international nonprofit, Operation Mobilization. There he worked aboard a ship that traveled the world, promoting educational literature and materials in developing nations and supporting the work of local churches and mission agencies. Timothy then spent a short time of rapid advancement in the security industry before returning to the nonprofit sector to serve people in great need. Timothy oversees about 20 staff who provide life-sustaining services, including meals, shelter, and access to long-term recovery for more than 7,000 individuals annually.
