We Love Our Teachers at PRM!

This Teacher Appreciation Week, we honor the dedicated teachers at Portland Rescue Mission who are instrumental in transforming lives each and every day.

In the caring environment of the Children's Center, our teachers provide more than just early education. They offer stability, love, and a safe space for children to heal through play. Through compassionate care and trauma-based parenting, our teachers lay the foundation for healing and growth for our future generations.

Additionally, at The Harbor and Shepherd's Door, our life-skills volunteer teachers equip men and women with skills and training to help renew their lives in the areas of financial literacy, parenting, and job readiness. Their guidance helps participants achieve long-term stability.

Our teachers embody the spirit of restoration, serving as beacons of hope for our guests and participants. Their unwavering commitment ensures that individuals and families recover and thrive as their lives continue outside PRM.
