In 2007, Jessica lost custody of her two older sons. Soon after, she gave up her baby boy for adoption. Her motherhood had been taken away, and she was completely lost.
“I just decided at that point I was going to be a drug addict because I didn’t know what else to do.”
Thanks to friends like you, Jessica is turning her pain into a brighter future. She’s graduated from Shepherd’s Door, the women and children’s ministry center of Portland Rescue Mission, and well on her way to rebuilding her life.
